Langebaan Lagoon, part of the West Coast National Park, and just south of Saldanha, is often referred to as the ‘Turquoise Jewel’. With pink flamingos and golden sand, the lagoon is a kaleidoscope of colours; full of life with animals, plants and folks alike. The beach’s ivory sand is fringed by indigenous coastal terrain and sheltered, somewhat, from the shore-beating breakers. Combined with welcoming warm water and long sunny days, this makes it the ideal seaside location for water sports, nature trails and scenic sunset cruises.
