Robben Island

Transported there on a luxury, high-speed Catamaran you can take a bus tour around this ‘Island of Seals’, where the old warden’s village and WWII remnants are eerily reminiscent of the late 1940s. Apart from the spectacular views of Cape Town, the main attraction is a poignant, informative tour given by an ex-prisoner who guides you through the prison corridors and into the tiny cells.
